Mainframe iSeries Engineer (F/H) – AXA Group Operations Manage, maintain and optimise our iSeries systems to ensure reliability, security, and performance. Resolve technical issues and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs. Responsibilities Manage and maintain AS400 systems and associated infrastructure. Optimize iSeries performance and ensure system reliability in an international context. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in the iSeries environment. Keep the operating system up to date on all partitions. Ensure compliance with group security, quality and sustainability standards. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to meet business needs related to iSeries systems. Provide technical expertise and support to ensure efficient operation of iSeries systems. Technical Skills Mastery of administration and management of iSeries systems and associated peripherals (HMC, VIOS, VTL, Storage Bay). Experience with Power, operating systems and connected software. Solid understanding of iSeries security, performance optimisation and backup/recovery procedures. Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in iSeries environments: RPG, CL, SQL. Knowledge of integrations between iSeries systems and other technologies and platforms. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and international stakeholders. Problem‑solving and analytical skills as an iSeries expert and level 3 support. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and skills. Knowledge of Silva aplus. Fluency in English and French; proven track record in managing and supporting iSeries systems. Managing L3 level documentation of infrastructure. Coordination with service provider for L1/L2 support; review/creation of SOPs for L2 to execute BAU tasks.
