Security Analyst Team Lead – France Location: Hybrid (4 remote/1 office) in Paris, France or Remote in France (Job travel up to 10%) Reports to: Manager, Incident Response About the Role: Varonis’ Incident Response team is a globally distributed, outcome-driven organization focused on delivering exceptional post-sales security outcomes to our customers. We are seeking a customer‑centric Security Analyst Team Lead to manage and scale our team of Incident Response Security Analysts focusing on customers in our France region. This role is critical in shaping the customer experience, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our clients. You will be responsible for overall management of Varonis customer accounts based in the France region requiring strong customer‑facing experience with a diverse customer base. Additionally, you will be managing strategic customer account relationships. You will report to the EMEA Incident Response Manager and play a key role in executing the broader cybersecurity strategy of Varonis’ Incident Response team. You will directly oversee personnel based in France, ensuring regional alignment with global strategy and consistent delivery of high‑impact, value‑driven services. Key Responsibilities: Exhibit extreme ownership of the Incident Response French customer portfolio. Lead, train, and develop a high‑performing team of security analysts focused on delivering incident response and investigation services. Serve as a escalation point and trusted advisor for complex customer incidents, ensuring timely, transparent, and effective resolution. Act as the face of Incident Response for French customers, building long‑term relationships and aligning security outcomes with customer security goals. Provide operational ownership of a core Incident Response program to ensure it is delivered with a consistent level of quality. Collaborate across a variety of Varonis teams including: MDDR Operations Forensics Threat Labs, Security Research, and Detection Engineering Customer Success, TAMs, and Sales Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring proactive communication, clear incident handling, and measurable value delivery. Develop and implement regional processes, playbooks, and KPIs to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery. Provide executive‑level reporting on incident trends, team performance, and customer impact. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 1+ years in a leadership role. 1+ years of demonstrated personnel management with three or more direct reports. Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders. Proven track record in incident response and cyber investigations. Demonstrated significant customer‑facing security operations and account management experience. Familiarity with customer‑vendor relationships and delivery of security services in a consultative manner. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with France and French‑speaking customers. Experience with MDR and IR vendor offerings. Experience managing personnel and their performance. Familiarity with data security principles. Experience supporting sales or customer success initiatives from a technical leadership perspective.
