Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris – a landmark of Parisian elegance and luxury – is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its Engineering Team. The role is based in the hotel’s F&B Department and supports the high standards of service and safety expected at our flagship property. About the Job Perform daily inspections of hotels facilities, ensuring electrical equipment, elevators, air‑conditioning, heating, plumbing, alarm systems, and other technical areas run safely. Carry out preventive maintenance in guestrooms, public spaces, kitchens, restaurants, and meeting rooms according to the schedule set by your manager. Treat a malfunction or breakdown by applying the correct repair procedure or replacing components in line with safety standards. Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing quality and safety protocols throughout the premises. Respond to guests’ specific requests in a discreet, service‑oriented manner. Qualifications and Expectations A diploma in Electrotechnics and 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel. Strong teamwork, flexibility, and autonomy; recognised for independent initiative. Deep knowledge of hotel equipment, competitors, standards, and services across heating, air‑conditioning, electricity, plumbing, telephony, office equipment, and security systems. Analytical, methodical, and decisive when diagnosing technical issues. Fluent in English and French. Benefits Learning & Development programmes to grow your career.
