About Probabl Probabl is the company behind Scikit‑learn, created by scikit‑learn co‑founders and core developers. Our mission is to help data scientists and ML engineers own their data science through open‑source tools that bring structure, best practices, and collaboration to machine learning workflows. The role We're looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to drive adoption of our open‑source Python libraries (skore, skrub, and skops) during the first months, and to our whole product Skore in the following ones. You'll be the voice of Probabl in the data science and ML community, creating content that helps practitioners discover and get value from our tools. Your missions Content creation: Produce engaging tutorials, demos, and educational videos that showcase real‑world use cases of our libraries. Community engagement: Animate and grow our Discord community – answer questions, gather feedback, and foster discussions among users. Social presence: Build Probabl's visibility on LinkedIn and other relevant social media through posts, articles, and thought leadership content targeting data scientists. Feedback loop: Serve as the bridge between our community and product/engineering teams, channeling user insights to shape our roadmap. Ecosystem awareness: Stay current with the Python ML ecosystem and identify opportunities to position our tools. Prerequisites Hands‑on experience with machine learning workflows (model training, evaluation, deployment) and the Python data science stack (scikit‑learn, PyTorch, MLflow, etc.). Demonstrated experience in public speaking and/or content creation (conference talks, videos, technical blog posts, tutorials). Fluent in English (written and spoken). Comfortable engaging with developer communities on Discord, LinkedIn, and GitHub. Working Conditions Location: Paris, Saclay, Berlin. Presence: Office‑based, hybrid, or full remote Europe. Team: Market Intelligence. Remuneration: 44‑50k€ fixed yearly, plus up to 10% bonus. Hiring process HR screening (30 min) – Introduction call to discuss your background and motivations. Hiring manager interview (45 min) – Deep dive into your experience, approach to DevRel, and alignment with our mission. Tech evaluation (60 min) – Present a topic to the team (15 min) and discussions (45 min) to assert technical knowledge, English fluency, and pedagogy. Feedback & decision call.
