Confirmed Accountant

As part of the accounting team, you will support the finance department and hold a key position by managing accounting and bookkeeping duties, covering financial risk and obligations of subsidiaries, and performing administrative tasks. You will work with the finance and operational teams at Spendesk, reporting directly to the accounting director. This role is based in our Paris office. What you will do Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance for all data, and building world‑class processes to achieve quality closings within short delays, maximizing analytics for the finance department. Ensure full compliance of Spendesk accounting data with local and global regulations, tax returns, VAT, income taxes, and taxes on salaries. Guarantee the best interaction with other departments to gather the best information, and become a Spendesk expert of the platform, testing new features and helping teams improve the solution. Your profile Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting. Organized, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and get things done. Eager to grow and curious – this is one of your main qualities. Excellent communication skills and good written and oral presentation. Great adaptability skills – Spendesk is a constantly evolving and fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of an ERP; NetSuite would be best, Spendesk not mandatory. Autonomous and fully manage your scope. Analytical mind and run analysis to understand financial data. Fluent in French and English.
