Overview We are looking for an intern for our project to create an educational math app for children aged 4–7. Period of stage: January-February 2026. Place of work: Plain Images, 99 A Boulevard Constantin Descat 59200 Tourcoing, France. About The Project We are creating an educational app – a 2D game – that teaches math skills to children. We use Unity as our game engine. The core concept of the app is already developed. We are now looking for a sound designer to: review and improve the current sound and music assets of the game; identify the necessary additional sound effects; create missing sound effects; compose background music or themes for game scenes, where needed. Check out more information about the project on our website: https://ednplay.com/math/ Preferred Experience You will need to focus on the following: Discuss audio ideas with the project team; collaborate with our artist and programmers. Analyse existing sound and music assets and propose improvements. Create sound effects suitable for UI interactions, character movement, game events, and mini-games. Compose short background music loops and ambient tracks adapted to young children (4–7 years). Integrate and prepare sound assets for Unity, deliver in required technical formats. Monitor the implementation of sound assets in Unity, discuss integration methods with programmers. Requirements Ability to communicate in English (A2–B1). Solid skills in sound design tools (Audacity, Reaper, Ableton, FL Studio or similar). Knowledge of mixing, mastering, and audio optimisation for mobile games. Creativity and good communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
