Join us in the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in our global warehouse and delivery network. Key job responsibilities Lead the engineering team, oversee annual reporting, and mentor team members to develop technicians. Collaborate with safety and site leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and compliance programs, ensuring a safe working environment. Coordinate with recruitment to fill headcount with qualified staff, supporting apprenticeship and graduate programs. Implement and improve standards in collaboration with the EU Engineering team, focusing on preventative maintenance to ensure safety and equipment availability. Basic Qualifications Experience in engineering team leadership. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent experience. Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines. Proficient in English and local language (CEFR Level B2+). Experience with automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems. Project management experience. Preferred Qualifications Chartered Engineer or working towards it. Knowledge of all specialized engineering and facilities equipment within a Fulfillment Center. Experience with PLC-based control systems. Amazon is committed to equal opportunity employment.
