Role Overview The Toulouse Champollion site hosts satellite systems engineering, payload design and production, and terrestrial segment development. As part of the Industry Department in the Industrial Process Engineering team, you will lead the industrialisation, launch and production monitoring of all equipment developed by the Electronics Competence Center. The team of around 60 engineers and technicians collaborates closely with mechanical, wiring, hybrid, and equipment assembly lines, as well as with design and technical teams. Within program IRIS 2, we are seeking an EMS Manager. Key Responsibilities Consolidate task sharing and responsibilities between TAS and EMS at all levels (prototypes, procurement, receiving, manufacturing, validation). Define and optimise input flows (components, sub‑assemblies) and output flows between the company and the EMS. Draft, update and manage the EMS specification book. Contribute to the EMS selection process. Ensure the EMS provider complies with quality standards and required certifications for IRIS², in collaboration with SDM and quality. Draft, update and follow the EMS global qualification plan (Data Package reviews, MRR, FAI, PPAP) and related acceptance criteria. Monitor associated industrial and technical actions. Ensure risk analysis performed by the EMS is correct and that the associated mitigation plan is validated by TAS. Enrich TAS risk analysis. Establish and communicate relevant KPI indicators in regular reports, collaborating with SPM (OTD, OQD). Organise necessary meetings, audits, management reviews and talks with the EMS, in collaboration with procurement. Manage and prioritise TAS‑assigned PCBA experts at EMS facilities. Assist in planning and managing inventory managed by SCM, providing accurate backlog status. Handle changes with EMS (nomenclature, parts, definitions, quantities, …) as a member of the EMS change committee with TAS. Identify processes and quality criteria for card acceptance. Ensure the EMS control plan meets TAS requirements. Track corrective actions related to identified non‑conformities. Serve as the main contact for TAS competence centers (France, Spain, Italy) and industrial teams on EMS industrial matters. Organise co‑engineering, co‑industrialisation and technical support with EMS. Organise the repair flow to the EMS and oversee root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Regular travel between TAS sites in France and Italy is required. Candidate Profile • Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in electronic product development, industrialisation and production. • Solid knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes, electronic component supply chain and IPC‑EMS standards. • Familiarity with APQP methodology. • Fluency in English. • Ability to structure and prioritise effectively. • Proficiency in change management. • Strong communication skills.
