Overview This role is based in Paris, France, and is part of the Actuarial EMEA ePricing team, reporting to the ePricing Manager for EMEA. As an ePricing Actuary, you will have full responsibility for pricing-related matters across all Europe (CE) countries. You will act as the main point of contact for underwriters, business analysts, and other stakeholders on pricing topics, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role involves constant interaction with underwriters and business analysts to explain priorities, provide guidance, and support decision-making. The role includes overseeing and supporting pricing models and strategies for our e-Trade business. You will work across multiple products (P&C and FL) to ensure competitive pricing, portfolio profitability, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in pricing, strong technical coding skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Key responsibilities Pricing & Rate Management: Take ownership of maintaining and updating pricing raters to ensure market competitiveness across all CE countries. Collaborate with underwriters, business leaders, and actuaries to refine pricing strategies and leverage data to enhance models. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of pricing models. Radar Migration: Lead the migration of pricing models from Excel to Radar, ensuring accurate implementation on relevant platforms. Work closely with IT, underwriting, actuarial teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition. Underwriting Support: Act as the primary point of contact for underwriters and business analysts in CE countries, providing ad-hoc analytical support to help achieve growth and profitability targets. Ensure products and pricing comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. Portfolio & Profitability Analysis: Conduct regular portfolio reviews to segment and analyze the book, identifying areas of strong performance and profitability. Analyze profitability across various products, including packaged offerings and digital distribution markets. Rate Monitoring: Track monthly rate changes and monitor performance against targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Actuarial Development Projects: Contribute to the development of new products, pricing initiatives, and broader actuarial projects, ensuring alignment with the needs of CE countries. Dashboard Development: Collaborate with data teams to maintain and enhance dashboards for tracking key metrics such as COR, ULT, rate change, rate adequacy, PMR, conversion rates, renewal rates, and other portfolio management indicators. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly interact with underwriters, business analysts, and other stakeholders to explain priorities, provide updates on pricing initiatives, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
