Engineering Manager – Project Lead Are you ready to lead a team of engineers within a growing Engineering Department? Join ITP Interpipe and become a key player in driving the technical development of our international projects. The position: As part of strengthening our Engineering Department, we are seeking a proactive leader to manage a team of Project Engineers, ensure study quality, and improve technical processes in a demanding, innovative, and collaborative environment. You will be deeply involved in the efficient roll‑out of engineering activities within the company and act as technical reference on projects studies both internally and for the company, clients, and providers. Working closely with the Engineering Director you will: Responsibilities 1. Manage a group of Project Engineers Lead, mentor, and develop a team of multi‑skilled engineers Define collective objectives and develop the team in line with ITP’s strategy, while fostering a collaborative mindset Manage the team workload, provide guidance and support to team members when facing challenges 2. Actively participate in the development of the Engineering Department Participate in the elaboration of the department's workload plan Evaluate the skill set of the Engineering staff and define development plans in line with ITP strategy Develop an ecosystem of external actors that can provide expertise to address the Engineering Department and ITP technical needs Promote a culture of continuous improvement and diffusion of knowledge and best practices within the company 3. Lead Engineering Activities on Projects Develop and implement the Engineering Execution Plan in close connection with the Project Lead recruitment and sourcing of engineering resources and manage the project engineering team Coordinate engineering activities with internal and external teams (Fabrication, Supply chain, QHSE, Vendors, Client) Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering with a Thermal and/or Mechanical specialization; at least 5 years as a Project Engineer or Lead Engineer in the energy sector (pipeline project experience an advantage) Experience in project‑based, multi‑disciplinary, multicultural teams Fluent in English (minimum C1 level); French proficiency mandatory (minimum B2 level) Pragmatic, anticipatory, and able to propose proactive solutions to technical or organizational challenges Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for effective cooperation with all internal and external stakeholders Benefits and Working Conditions Permanent contract (CDI) with salary based on experience + performance bonus + profit‑sharing Hybrid position – combination of office and remote work Opportunities to work in a stimulating, technical, international, and collaborative environment Role in a recognized, fast‑growing player committed to the energy transition Company Overview ITP Interpipe is a major international player, widely recognized for its expertise in the design and manufacturing of pipeline systems for transporting energy at extremely high and low temperatures.
