POSITION SUMMARY

As a Wine Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of service while providing exceptional hospitality and personalized service to our guests in our Michelin-starred restaurant and other dining venues within the establishment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the service process, ensuring a high standard of guest experience.
  • Recommend well-balanced food and wine pairings, offering insightful advice to our clientele.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of the wine list to meet customer expectations effectively.
  • Assist in managing the wine cellar and contribute to the development of beverage menus under the guidance of the head sommelier.
  • Adhere to the service procedures and standards set by the establishment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferably trained in hospitality, with a significant experience of at least one year in a similar role and establishment.
  • Exhibit excellent presentation skills and possess strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrate motivation, a keen sense of organization, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Accommodation and meals provided.
  • Salary based on collective agreements and experience / 43 hours per week.
  • Seasonal contract from early December to mid-April.
