Key Responsibilities:

The landscape of online advertising is rapidly changing, particularly regarding addressability. Numerous frameworks, such as Google's Privacy Sandbox and Apple's Private Browsing 2.0, complicate the ability to reach target audiences for advertising campaigns. Criteo is leading the charge in exploring and testing new capabilities essential for marketers operating on the open Internet.

  • Collaborate within a team of 4-6 engineers to design and implement projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Utilize documentation, open-source resources, and repeatable experiments to build expertise and share insights regarding web browser specifications and operating systems' network stack internals.
  • Develop an understanding of business scalability and ease of implementation, deploying code to validate these insights through your analytical skills or in collaboration with other Addressability engineers and analysts.
  • Engage closely with Product and Program Management teams to ensure optimal architectures and product outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
  • Motivated by new challenges and adaptable in adjusting plans to meet them.
  • Demonstrated knowledge or the ability to learn about web browser internals (cookie behavior, IP blocking features, domain classification) and operating systems' network stack internals (TCP/IP features, DNS stack, etc.).
  • Relevant experience in Object-Oriented Programming languages (C#, Python, C++, Java).
  • Familiarity with client-side technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
