Lead Critical Initiatives in Climate and Sustainability Risk Management

AXA Group is seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team within the Group Risk Management (GRM) department. As a key member of the ERM team, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing the Group's Risk Management framework, including the Risk Appetite and the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition and implementation of risk management frameworks related to climate change and sustainability risks across the Group and its entities.
  • Design, govern, and report on the Group's Risk Appetite, ensuring its alignment with climate and sustainability risk management.
  • Address one of the main risks the Group is exposed to in the medium and long term, covering a wide spectrum of physical and transition risks with implications for insurance, such as natural catastrophes, mortality, health costs, investment risks, and operational risks.
  • Coordinate climate regulatory stress tests exercises and annual updates to be submitted to the ARCC and Finance & Risk Committee of the Board.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in insurance business, finance, legal and compliance matters, and data quality.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to contribute to the deployment of a solid and actionable climate change risk management framework.
