Commercial Sales Representative

The Sales Executive will report to the EU Sales Director and Branch General Manager. The core duty of this role is to identify, design and execute plans that help the company's business grow. This includes developing new products, services and lines of businesses to increase and sustain that growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Initiate sales calls to prospective or current clients
- Prospect for leads and perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses
- Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships
- Negotiate prices and services with customers and carriers
- Create sales goals to aid in achieving targets
- Uphold rapport with clients and prospects
- Nurture new sales leads to secure business
- Offer quotes to current and prospective clients
- Ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction by supervising shipments until delivery is completed
- Analyze the market to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients through phone or one-on-one interactions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry or logistics-related business
- Air/Ocean Freight Import or Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Knowledge of all Import/Export regulations and documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- Exceptional customer service and follow-up skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed
