Role Overview

As a Data Security Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive information across our vast network, encompassing on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments, and endpoint devices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data loss prevention (DLP) policies and procedures that align with both business objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive DLP program strategy, ensuring it effectively mitigates data security risks across all organizational domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DLP solutions into existing workflows and systems, minimizing disruption while maximizing effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to sensitive data, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to employees on best practices for handling confidential information, promoting a culture of data security awareness.
  • Monitor the performance of DLP systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to ensure ongoing effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing DLP programs within complex IT environments.
  • In-depth understanding of DLP technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and concise articulation of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
