We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Timex Group. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for executing the product development and overall product strategy and management at a global level.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify new product opportunities by combining category trend forecast, sales analysis, market feedback, and brand objectives.
- Develop clear design briefs, including costing and pricing requirements, four times a year.
- Manage daily relationships with product development teams in Hong Kong and design studios in Milan to ensure product development processes and calendars are respected.
- Monitor all stages of the product development phases and deadlines, including design, prototype, sampling, and costing.
- Prepare master product knowledge documents and support sales teams in presenting new collections.
- Manage in-life product performance, including sales review, margin analysis, retail pricing, and conducting numerical analysis using company data.
- Conduct product and price mapping, market research, competitive and trend analysis.
- Coordinate and build strong working relations with internal and external organizations, including planning, engineering, sales, e-commerce, design, product development, and operations.
- Lead the development, approval, and communication of new products to internal and client stakeholders.
- Build relations with domestic and international distributors, affiliates, and the marketplace.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or science.
- Three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the watch industry or watch buying experience for a major retail or department store account.
- Good understanding of the watch industry and ability to think on a global level.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to manipulate data for efficient review, control, and analysis.
- Strong sense and interest in fashion and design.
- Dynamic, proactive, flexible, curious, and committed to teamwork.
- Ability to work both on a team and individually, and to be effective under pressure.
- Strategic thinking, strong initiative, and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (speaking and writing) and proficiency in French.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Availability and willingness to travel internationally as needed to deliver key business requirements.
