The Group Export Control Manager will play a critical role in ensuring Exclusive Networks' compliance with all Export Control regulations relative to Dual-Use Goods. This position requires a strong understanding of French, EU, and international Export Control laws, including US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and inspection programs.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee global Export Control policies, ensuring understanding and alignment with Exclusive Networks' business processes and regional operations.
- Control all export licensing activities, including tracking and reporting, while ensuring feasibility from a Customs and Export control perspective.
- Advise senior management on export control and customs strategies, ensuring up-to-date regulatory watch on these topics.
- Lead a network of local export control champions, overseeing training development and delivery for Export Control & Trade Compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Vendor compliance, and Legal, ensuring Export Control compliance in agreements and classifications.
- Provide support for all export control projects, ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations and assisting local champions in export-related tasks.
- Coordinate internal audits related to export control, ensuring proper document retention, screening of denied parties, and reporting on compliance performance metrics.
- Expertise in French, EU, and international Export Control laws, including US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and inspection programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Solid analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, combined with quantitative skills.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work independently, analyze situations effectively, and take suitable action.
- Ensure confidentiality and communicate clearly in both written and oral forms.
- Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
