Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a skilled and experienced Scientific Sales Representative to join our team in the Western region of France. This exciting opportunity will involve promoting and selling our innovative products and services to healthcare customers, including public and private laboratories, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
About the RoleThis role requires strong scientific knowledge and commercial acumen to drive sales growth and expand market share for our Clinical Diagnostic division. You will be responsible for building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding customer needs, and developing targeted sales strategies to meet their requirements.
Main Responsibilities- Promote and sell Thermo Fisher Scientific products and services to healthcare customers in the Western region of France.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including biologists, biomedical engineers, laboratory technicians, quality managers, and buyers.
- Create and implement sales forecasts for the sector, aligning with commercial management objectives and policies.
- Deploy a key account approach for public (GHT) and private clients in the sector, collaborating closely with the Key Accounts Manager.
- Closely collaborate with the clinical specialists team to develop common customer accounts.
- Monthly reporting of sales and machine placements to the Sales Director.
- Develop commercial action plans aligned with commercial and marketing strategies.
- Monitor and respond to tenders, preparing commercial offers.
- Work closely with marketing to understand evolving customer needs.
- Organize and conduct presentations for biologists on our products.
- Organize commercial tours respecting priorities defined in action plans.
- Daily update of a CRM (SFDC).
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree or equivalent in a scientific (biology) and/or commercial field.
- Strong scientific knowledge in Medical Biology.
- Technical knowledge of the market and environment of medical biology and its partners.
- Sales techniques and skills, including negotiation, CRM software, and public speaking.
- Proficient English language skills.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around €60,000-€80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
