Job Summary:
Claremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel is seeking a highly skilled Fitness Professional to join our team.
As a Fitness Professional, you will be responsible for leading fitness exercise sessions, personal training sessions, and group training experiences. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Fitness Center and teaching area, ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests
- Ensure all fitness and Club services, protocols, and procedures are followed
- Plan and conduct fitness exercise sessions, personal training sessions, group training experiences, and in-service education sessions
- Maintain professional certifications (NASM, ACSM, ACE, AFAA, Pilates) while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertise
- Provide a high level of guest satisfaction through effective communication
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possible jumping, bending, running, as necessary to demonstrate exercise routines
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Job functions are subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities

- To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each task proficiently

Additional Requirements:
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Hourly rate: $50.00 USD - $65.00 USD Gross per hour
