Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to students, focusing on skills such as fine motor, gross motor, and sensory integration
- Assess and evaluate student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform therapy plans
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach
Requirements:
- License to practice occupational therapy in the State of Kansas
- Certification by the National Registration Exam
