Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Defence business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contract administration, commercial advice, and ensuring that all contract timescales are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contract Administration: Manage existing contracts, perform tasks as required by the Commercial Manager, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Commercial Advice: Provide expert guidance to Contract Leads on commercial matters, including applications for payments, general communications, and programme submissions.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including forecasts and change management.
  • Interface Management: Liaise with Contract Leads, Finance, Cost Engineering, and Project Controls functions to ensure seamless project execution.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong NEC contract administration experience, preferably with NEC4 Professional Service Contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to at least intermediate level.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Able to manage competing priorities, work to high levels of accuracy, and maintain contract compliance.
