Your responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in a key project, contributing to the design and oversight of equipment implementation, while also working on the modification of existing systems. The essential duties of the Process Engineering Consultant include:
- Evaluating specifications and client requirements,
- Designing and sizing various equipment according to client needs (such as valves and pumps),
- Developing all primary diagrams (PID/PFD) based on sizing calculations,
- Preparing project documentation: datasheets, technical specifications, procedures, operational manuals,
- Engaging in risk assessments: HAZOP, HAZID, HEA, Machine Directive,
- Handling projects in high-risk environments: ATEX, DESP,
- Conducting technical discussions with suppliers and managing equipment acceptance: FAT and SAT,
- Collaborating with various departments: design, quality, purchasing, project management, etc.
Your qualifications
- You possess a degree in Process Engineering and/or Chemical Engineering (e.g., ENCIACET, ENSIC, INSA Toulouse, ENSGTI, IFP...) / Master / Engineering graduate,
- You have a solid understanding of PID, PFD diagrams, and equipment sizing (valves, pumps),
- You are knowledgeable about industrial risk assessment techniques (HAZOP),
- You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, independence, and meticulous attention to detail,
- You seek a rewarding and challenging career path.
