Senior Back-End Engineer, Staking

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our custodial staking platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building scalable, reliable, and performant systems that support multiple networks and dynamic validator sets.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement APIs for our staking platform, integrating with new and existing services.
- Collaborate with our dedicated engineering team to apply the highest standards and ship secure and performant systems.
- Work extensively with open source technologies, including Docker, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
- Ensure security is at the forefront of everything you do.
- Optimize existing systems for scalability, extensibility, and performance while building out reusable, modular code for use across our products.
- Integrity is the foremost quality for this position.
- You are highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about cryptocurrencies.
- You have experience with blockchain systems, preferably working closely with at least one.
- Cosmos-based blockchain networks are a plus.
- You are a strong advocate for best engineering practices and thrive on learning new technologies.
- You take a pragmatic approach to developing clean solutions to complex problems.
- You pride yourself on consistent high levels of test coverage, strong technical documentation, and effective monitoring.
- You take full responsibility for all the projects you work in.
- Experience in at least one JVM-based language, such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala, is preferred.
