Position Overview
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher who is passionate about interpretable supervised learning and the application of artificial intelligence for societal benefits. This position emphasizes the advancement of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) methodologies in the realm of marine ecosystem analysis, utilizing data gathered from the Inria Challenge OcéanIA. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to scrutinize and elucidate extensive collections of marine imagery obtained during research expeditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish a well-structured dataset to facilitate effective classification systems
- Construct a lexicon of pertinent sub-concepts leveraging existing knowledge and resources
- Engage with OceanIA researchers based in France and Chile
- Assist in software development and initiatives for knowledge sharing
- Participate in the creation of scientific publications and reports
