Job Title: Software Engineer - Embedded Systems

At Lucid Motors, we're pushing the boundaries of luxury electric vehicles. We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Toulouse, France.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to work on the development and implementation of software applications that control various electronic systems in our vehicles. As a key member of our software team, you'll collaborate with our Software Quality Assurance team to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement software applications that control electronic systems in vehicles
  • Collaborate with Software Quality Assurance team to ensure software meets quality standards
  • Assess, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain software applications throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Analyze and optimize system performance through software design, code creation, and testing
  • Document software specifications and user manuals for future reference
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on embedded systems and/or automotive applications
  • Strong Linux/Hypervisorknowledge
  • Strong System knowledge
  • Excellent programming skills in C and C++
  • Experience with AOSP and Yocto
  • Experience with Camera and Networking
  • Experience with software testing and verification tools
  • In-depth knowledge of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
