Fleury Michon, a leading French food company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician Trainee to join our team in Pouzauges, France. As a Laboratory Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological and chemical analyses, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to the development of our laboratory team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological and chemical analyses, including bacterial enumeration, pH, and oxygen measurements
• Prepare and analyze samples, including enrichment and repiping
• Operate laboratory equipment, including the TEMPO automate
• Record and report results on our laboratory software
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of the laboratory and its equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, chemistry, or a related field
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Experience with laboratory equipment and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
