We're looking for a talented Financial Controller to join our team and help us drive our financial strategy forward. As a key member of our Finance department, you'll work closely with our Pre-sales and Sales Managers to build offers, participate in negotiations, and contribute to bid preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and challenge Pre-sales and Sales Managers in building offers, including costing, pricing, financing, payment terms, foreign exchange coverage, and legal structure
- Participate in negotiations with customers and partners
- Contribute to building and preparing bids with the project team, modeling bids Profit and Loss and cash-flow statements
- Collaborate with Division Treasury to optimize financing and mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with the Legal team on the legal impact of contract terms
- Define and update business case templates (Profit and Loss and cash-flow statements) for the different categories and ensure proper use of the templates by project teams worldwide
- Handle Financial architect activities for small/medium complexity deals in autonomy
Requirements
- Master's degree (BAC+5) from a business school or engineering school with a specialized finance program
- Desired experience of 3 to 8 years
- Strong Excel skills and expertise in financial modeling
- Knowledge of international accounting standards, particularly IFRS 15
- Sensitivity to related topics: Tax environment, INCOTERMS, Treasury, Consolidation, etc
- Understanding of the overall environment of a tender process (especially legal and commercial aspects)
- Familiarity with the major challenges in project implementation
- Leadership qualities and proactive in contributing to proposal preparation
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of figures reported to management
- Strict adherence to pre-sales processes and Margin and Cash objectives
- Strong synthesis and communication skills for interactions and presentations to senior management
- Professional proficiency in English and prior experience in a multinational company preferred
