Public Relations Specialist for Amazon Ads

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our Amazon Ads team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans to support our AdTech services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute earned and owned proactive communications strategies for our AdTech services
  2. Lead PR activations supporting owned and industry events, such as unBoxed and Cannes
  3. Secure and manage speaking opportunities and relevant amplifications
  4. Provide business teams with ongoing strategic counsel and support
  5. Build and maintain strong media relationships
  6. Stay current on industry trends, issues, and news
  7. Support complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges
Requirements

5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

Advertising industry PR experience

Experience driving comprehensive earned and owned content strategies

A passion for building, experimentation, and big, creative thinking

Experience managing press activations for events

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $147,400/year in our highest geographic market.
