We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our commercial kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of our kitchen by maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to our health and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation principles, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or certification an asset.
