- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Field Geologist or Geophysicist in the exploration and management of oil and gas fields, particularly in an international setting.
- Willingness to relocate for assignments and missions abroad.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Basic knowledge of French is advantageous.
We are seeking Geophysicist & Geologist Engineers W/M to engage in extensive international projects.
As Geophysicists / Geologists, your role will involve the safe execution of data acquisition, quality assurance, interpretation, and integration within geoscience and reservoir studies. This work will be aligned with the company's vision of enhancing energy production while minimizing emissions, focusing on efficient oil and gas production, particularly LNG, and developing CO2 storage solutions for industrial clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Upholding and advocating for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Preparing and overseeing geoscience and reservoir data acquisition activities (including geology, geophysics, reservoir characterization, and monitoring).
- Analyzing and interpreting subsurface data to achieve optimal reservoir characterization.
- Conducting integrated geological and geophysical studies for the monitoring of oil, gas, and CO2 storage fields.
- Developing and refining models, whether simple or complex, in collaboration with reservoir engineers and geologists/geophysicists to enhance fluid flow modeling.
- Assessing hydrocarbon resources and reserves or CO2 storage capacities, evaluating production and injection potential, and recommending data acquisition strategies for optimization.
- Drafting comprehensive reservoir monitoring and management plans, including those for CO2 storage.
