Back Market is a leading refurbished electronics marketplace with a global presence. We're looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge platform.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer to lead the development of our web application. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the frontend of our platform, ensuring a seamless user experience and high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the frontend architecture of our web application, using Nuxt/Vue.js and our own Design System.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure frontend code, adhering to our coding standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with the backend team to ensure seamless integration and data exchange between the frontend and backend systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to ensure the growth and development of the team.
  • Participate in technical discussions, contribute to the development of technical roadmaps, and help shape the technical direction of the company.

Requirements

  • Significant experience with web technologies, including JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Proficiency in Vue.js, React, or Angular, with a strong understanding of frontend development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, such as Jest or Mocha, and a strong understanding of testing principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, and containerization, such as Docker.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
