Packaging Project Manager

The Project Manager - Packaging is responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing Team in providing a technical solution to meet customer briefs and expectations in line with our product ranges and production practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Act as the interface between technical and commercial teams, and clients, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Provide technical drawings in accordance with customer briefs.
- Establish and manage development schedules.
- Ensure effective sharing of information internally and externally.
- Provide technical support to customers, including filling lines, with a consultant approach.
- Regular reviews with Supply Chain, R&D, Customer Service, and Marketing teams.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within Europe and occasionally outside the EU.
Requirements:
- Technical background in packaging design, with a degree in Engineering (Packaging, Plastics).
- Minimum 3 years of significant experience in packaging project management, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Needs analysis, negotiating skills, and a disciplined approach to work.
- Results-oriented, able to achieve goals independently.
- Responsive and proactive.
- Good communication skills, mainly for customer approach.
- Perfect understanding of technical aspects of plastic packaging for beauty products, including CAD software (Solidworks).
- Knowledge of cosmetics, airless, and fragrance packaging.
- Knowledge of product design, use of plastic materials.
- Understanding of metals (primarily aluminium) is an advantage.
- Fluent English (written & spoken). Fluency in other languages (Spanish, Italian) is a plus.
