Position Overview
Veolia's Recycling and Waste Recovery division in the Ile-de-France area is seeking a skilled operator for its waste incineration facility, which also produces electricity and heating.
- This role includes an operating contract lasting between 4 to 6 months, followed by a 10-month training phase under a fixed-term or permanent training contract.
- Reporting to the control manager of the energy valorization unit, your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting technical inspections throughout the facility
- Communicating findings to your supervisors and assisting in loading and unloading tasks
- Carrying out basic maintenance duties
- Operating the overhead crane
Candidate Profile
You are the ideal candidate if you possess a degree in Technical, Thermal, or Energy fields, are recognized for your adaptability and decision-making abilities, and are eager to learn in a challenging technical setting. You should also be open to rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
What We Offer
- A monthly gross salary ranging from 2130 € to 2210 €, distributed over 13 months based on experience
- Position-related bonuses, along with allowances for night and Sunday work, amounting to between 100 and 200 € monthly
- Net allowances for meals, transportation, and other expenses, totaling between 150 and 200 € monthly
- Employee savings plans, profit-sharing, and opportunities for employee share ownership
