**Job Summary**
The Procurement Specialist will lead the development and execution of the sourcing strategy for direct materials with a spend of around 10M€ and various procurement projects in a multi-national environment. The portfolio includes raw materials generally used for fertilizers and formulations for gardening products.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Gain a strong knowledge of materials and related regulatory and manufacturing processes.
- Develop a good understanding of the markets for products.
- Establish a strong relationship with external parties and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D, regulatory, marketing, and supply chain.
- Identify improvement and savings opportunities as well as risk management.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and regular price analyses related to the portfolio.
- Engage in troubleshooting efforts and root cause elimination with suppliers, factories, and R&D.
- Lead and participate in projects for savings, replacements, and new product development.

**Education and Experience**
- Master's degree from a university, business school, or engineering school covering procurement or supply chain.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in fertilizers, chemicals, and/or regulated markets.
- Multi-site or international work experience is preferred.
