About the Role

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting blood tests and other laboratory procedures with a focus on patient care
• Working closely with healthcare professionals to receive and process blood samples
• Managing laboratory supplies and ordering new materials as needed
• Ensuring compliance with quality and accreditation procedures

Additional Responsibilities

You will also be trained to manage patient records and perform administrative tasks, including:

• Registering patient information in our healthcare software
• Processing medical bills and managing outstanding payments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in nursing or a related field, or a BTS/DUT qualification with a certificate in laboratory techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care
