About the Role
The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Sustainability Assistant to support the Corporate Retail & Sustainability Manager in the Retail Design Development Center EMEA. This role will be integrated into the creative department and will focus on sustainable initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication:
- Update the RDDC sustainability guidelines according to global recommendations.
- Prepare presentations for various stakeholders, including regional and global management, RDDC members, and ELC EMEA affiliates.
- Cascade information received from ELC Global team.
- Organize peer-to-peer approach with other regional teams.
- Prepare a quarterly newsletter.
- Support:
- Assist the Corporate Retail & Sustainability Manager on sustainable projects.
- Support RDDC members in their sustainable developments.
- Update existing sustainable tools available.
- Research:
- Source new sustainable materials and update the existing database.
- Monitor competitors' sustainable initiatives.
- Reporting:
- Regroup and analyze RDDC sustainable projects.
- Track KPIs.
- Report RDDC improvements and developments to regional and global teams.
- Set up tools to encourage sustainable practices in store design and visual merchandising.
Requirements
Student in sustainability or business school with a sustainability focus. Master's Degree desirable. French, English mandatory. Capability to work in a team environment, good interpersonal skills, rigorous, well-organized, sense of aesthetics, attention to detail, great communication skills, summarization capabilities, adaptability, agility, open-minded, passionate about sustainability, pro-active and curious attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, PowerPoint, SharePoint proficiency.
