Job Overview:

SOPHiA GENETICS is a leading AI SaaS Platform that enables data-driven decision-making in healthcare.

We are seeking a talented Cloud Healthcare Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cloud-based web platform.

About the Role:

This 6-month internship will provide you with hands-on experience in developing cloud-based healthcare applications using modern software engineering processes and tools.

You will work closely with our team of Engineers to design, develop, and test web-modules and their microservices, contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement web-modules on our cloud-based web platform
  • Contribute to the design, development, and release phases of individual web components of the platform
  • Participate in code and design reviews with other members of the team

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with modern software engineering processes and tools
  • Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript and other languages
  • Basic knowledge/experience with Front-End frameworks: React, Next JS, Node, JSX
  • Familiarity with various APIs (GraphQL & REST)
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
