Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Jacobs, a leading provider of technical, professional, and construction services. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction activities on our ITER project in France.

• Implement project procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Interface with Construction Quality Inspectors, Resident Engineers, and HSE personnel to ensure seamless coordination.
• Assist in the review of subcontractor technical submittals and ensure auditable implementation of Nuclear safety PIA and PIC at the site.
• Lead by example as a safety role model and minimize construction risks by identifying and deploying mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and coordinate site construction activities, document daily activities, and assist in validating contractor's progress.
• Coordinate cross-site support services, including scaffolding, lifting, and handling, and assist in resolving work issues between project subcontractors and Construction Supervisors.
• Ensure contract compliance and read and understand contract technical documents, specifications, drawings, and supplemental material.

• Mechanical background with Construction Site experience preferred.
• Nuclear construction site-based experience (desirable).
• Experience with industrial completions and quality management systems (desirable).
• Ability to lead and provide clear and concise direction to multiple contractors.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
