Job Description:

We are seeking an internationally minded and highly motivated Sustainability Reporting Project Manager to join our team. As part of our global transformation, this role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Group's sustainability reporting strategy. This includes leading the execution of Forvis Mazars' global data collection exercises and preparation of sustainability reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to promote awareness and understanding of sustainability goals and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Group's sustainability reporting strategy, aligned with international standards and regulations.
  • Manage the end-to-end global annual sustainability reporting process, collaborating with stakeholders across diverse regions and business units.
  • Coordinate data collection and analysis to produce accurate and compelling sustainability reports, showcasing the Group's environmental, social, and governance performance.
  • Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of sustainability goals and reporting requirements.
  • Support individual countries in their sustainability reporting efforts, providing guidance, training, and ensuring consistency in data collection and reporting methodologies.

Key Actions:

  • Develop a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework and continuously monitor and address emerging sustainability reporting trends and regulations to drive improvements in the reporting process and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Establish a robust governance framework for sustainability reporting, outlining relevant decision-making processes as well as clearly defined roles and responsibilities in overseeing and guiding the reporting process.
  • Develop and execute a proactive stakeholder engagement strategy to involve key internal stakeholders across countries and business functions in the sustainability reporting process.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation and publication of the Group's annual sustainability report, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards such as the CSRD and TCFD.
  • Manage and oversee the customization and configuration of the Group's sustainability reporting tool and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze relevant sustainability metrics and data points across countries.
  • Develop a systematic approach to data collection and validation, including relevant guidelines and protocols to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reported data.
  • Design and develop comprehensive data dashboards within the Group's data visualization tool to showcase relevant sustainability metrics at both global and country levels.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sustainability data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement and sharing key findings with relevant stakeholders through presentations and interactive sessions to foster awareness and understanding.
  • Manage regular feedback sessions with internal stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement in sustainability reporting and collaborate with relevant teams to implement changes.
  • Develop guidelines and training programs to enhance the sustainability reporting capabilities of country-level teams to ensure year-on-year improvements in the availability and quality of the data collected.
  • Work closely with the Group Communications team to develop a comprehensive communication strategy for sustainability reporting, outlining key messages, target audiences, and channels for dissemination.
  • Monitor and assess regional and country-level sustainability reporting regulations and develop relevant reporting guidelines to assist countries in the development of local sustainability reports and ensure alignment with evolving reporting requirements, overall branding, and key messages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (min 2-3 years experience) in managing global sustainability reporting processes within a large, complex organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of international sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD) and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and sustainability reporting software.
  • Ability to navigate cultural diversity and tailor sustainability initiatives to diverse regional contexts.
  • Native or bilingual English, both oral and written. French and other languages are a plus.
