ENGIE Renouvelables is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our renewable energy business.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft and negotiate M&A transactions in France, including buy-side and sell-side deals;
- Implement and monitor partnerships, including drafting and negotiating shareholders agreements;
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, such as non-recourse financings;
- Review Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for all geographies;
- Participate in cross-functional issues related to company governance;
- Support operational teams and management in decision-making by identifying and assessing legal risks;
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, ethical principles, policies, and procedures;
- Manage external lawyers.
- Law degree from a recognized university;
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience, ideally in an international law firm;
- Fluent in French and English.
