Job Summary:

As a Department Manager - Charcuterie and Fromagerie, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the charcuterie and fromagerie department. This includes managing a team of staff, optimizing the organization and management of the department, and developing and maintaining quality relationships with local suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and a high-quality product offering.
  • Optimize the organization and management of the charcuterie and fromagerie department to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain quality relationships with local suppliers to ensure a consistent and high-quality product offering.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective merchandising and display of products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a department manager or deputy in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
