Airbus Defence and Space, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a highly skilled Export Control Officer to join its team in Toulouse, France.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position ranges from €45,000 to €65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Job Description
This role involves continuously tracking the evolution of export control national & international laws and regulations (including ITAR and EAR) and liaising with relevant government authorities. Key responsibilities include providing permanent advice and support to the business, delivering training to concerned functions, ensuring permanent intelligence on « end use(r) » countries or customers, and improving the performance of the export control function.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting and coordinating actions of the supply chain, implementing Airbus Directives and Methods, defining, updating and enforcing end-to-end export control processes, preparing export control documentation, monitoring and updating lists of products subject to export restriction, applying for export licences, and classifying and administering licences.
The role requires a pro-active, well-structured, and team-oriented working approach, as well as strong communication skills. Fluency in English and French is essential, while knowledge of relevant IT tools, MS-Office, and Google Workspace is desirable. A legal or engineering background is preferred.
