Reservoir Optimization Specialist Needed at Core Laboratories

Are you a skilled designer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic industry? We are seeking a talented Designer to join our team at Core Laboratories, a leading provider of proprietary and patented reservoir description and production enhancement services and products.

As a Designer, your primary responsibility will be to utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to conceptualize, design, and develop instruments for Laboratories and components. You will operate independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to address challenges and provide innovative solutions, all while keeping a keen focus on meeting customer needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Prepare testing procedures and test reports.
  
• Assist interdepartmental support, including technical problem solving within the manufacturing, quality, and safety departments.
  
• Advise and assist Presales and after sales department on a technical level during development, production, and operation of customer specific tools and/or applications.
  
• Develop a basic knowledge of products, materials, and processes to provide manufacturing support and technical support.
  
• Undertake other reasonable duties as designated by the line manager.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Technical school education in design/drafting with a 2-year degree or a diploma plus 3-5 years in CAD systems or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  
• Two years of experience in SolidWorks is preferred. AutoCAD and Inventor is desired.
  
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pressure vessels and automated controls and their functions is desired.
  
• Material calculation.
