Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team at Otis. As an Elevator Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing elevators and escalators in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our equipment is safe and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Diagnose and repair complex technical issues with elevators and escalators.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that customer needs are met and that our equipment is safe and reliable.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- 6 months of experience in the elevator industry, preferably in installation or maintenance.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of elevator systems and components.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification a plus.
