Position Title: Maître d'Hôtel

As a Maître d'Hôtel, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests and guiding them to their tables.

Your role includes presenting the menu and daily specials in an engaging and informative manner.

You will take customer orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.

Overseeing the dining service is crucial to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for all patrons.

Training and managing the dining staff will be part of your responsibilities to maintain efficiency and professionalism.

Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly is essential to uphold service standards.

Collaboration with the kitchen team is necessary to guarantee timely service of dishes in excellent condition.

Maintaining rigorous hygiene and safety standards throughout the dining experience is a priority.

Regular follow-ups with customers will help ensure their satisfaction and enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Maître d'Hôtel or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on customer service.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wines and various service techniques.
• Fluency in both French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• A degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
