Blockchain Ventures is a leading software platform for digital assets.
We are seeking a highly skilled Kotlin and Solidity Developer with experience in blockchain protocols and EVM networks to join our DeFi team. As a back-end engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our non-custodial wallet's network support, writing smart contracts, and integrating with 3rd party vendors that provide data for crypto tokens, DApps, and DAOs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solid, reliable software to handle multiple networks and support our growing family of products and user base.
- Collaborate with a dedicated engineering team to apply the highest standards and ship secure and performant systems.
- Work in the core of our solution, interacting directly with multiple blockchains.
- Work extensively with open source technologies (Docker, Kafka, MySQL).
- Ensure security is at the forefront of everything you do.
- Work within interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality products to our users.
- Optimize existing systems for scalability, extensibility, and performance while building out reusable, modular code for use across our products.
Requirements:
- Integrity is the foremost quality for this position.
- Solid experience in Typescript, Solidity, and ideally Kotlin/JVM.
- Experience working with blockchain technologies (EVM or non-EVM chains, and DeFi protocols).
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about cryptocurrencies.
- Knowledge of blockchain systems and experience working with at least one.
- Ability to find solutions to novel problems.
- Curiosity, knowledge of multiple programming languages, and a strong advocate for best engineering practices.
- Pragmatic approach to developing clean solutions to complex problems.
- Consistent high levels of test coverage, strong technical documentation, and effective monitoring.
- Full responsibility for all projects worked on.
