The IPVF's core objective is to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of photovoltaic cells while pioneering groundbreaking technologies through four strategic pillars:
- A robust research agenda;
- Hosting over 200 researchers and their laboratories on-site;
- A state-of-the-art technological platform featuring advanced equipment;
- A comprehensive training program including master's degrees, doctoral supervision, and continuing education.

Founded with the support of prominent organizations, the IPVF is home to a vibrant community of over 150 researchers, providing a comprehensive environment for deep-tech research and innovation.
The institute aspires to maintain its status as:

To facilitate its growth and industrial transfer, the IPVF seeks to enhance its characterization team focused on opto-electronics. The role will play a vital part in ensuring the platform's excellence in supporting research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the head of the characterization division, the Opto-Electronic Technologies Coordinator will undertake the following primary responsibilities:
- Research Support: Act as the expert for solar simulators, source meters, quantum yield measurements, flash testers, and spectrophotometers. Assist researchers in adopting new measurement techniques aligned with evolving research objectives. Ensure adherence to metrology standards for measurement quality.
Candidates should possess a background in physical measurements or a related field, with knowledge of metrology, instrumentation electronics, and spectroscopy. Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency in Office applications, along with basic programming knowledge in Python, are essential. Understanding technical English and the ability to write in French are also required.
