Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Quantitative Trader to join our eTrading team. As a key member of our algorithmic trading desk, you will design, optimize, and run tailor-made strategies to execute trades efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new trading strategies to optimize execution and minimize risk
- Develop, test, and document new algorithms to improve trading performance
- Run and monitor trading algorithms to ensure optimal performance
- Provide centralized market access and liquidity provision
- Interact with brokers and exchanges to ensure seamless trade execution
- Develop and maintain tools to supervise trading decisions and enhance existing infrastructure
- Top academic background in engineering, IT, mathematics, or finance
- Confirmed experience as an algo trader or algo developer
- Strong analytical and programming skills, with proficiency in Python and C#
- Excellent data management skills and attention to detail
- Strong team player with a pragmatic and result-driven approach
As a Quantitative Trader at ENGIE, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of experts, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to a more sustainable energy future. Position based in Paris for the first 6 to 12 months, with opportunities to move to Houston or Singapore or Melbourne at a second stage.
