Job Title: Senior Community Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Community Developer to lead our community strategy and oversee the execution of all community-focused communications for our upcoming in-house productions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute community strategic plans through various content tactics, supporting production objectives and augmenting the overall marketing strategy.
  • Define, organize, and manage community programs, ensuring alignment with production goals and marketing initiatives.
  • Support internal and external milestones, such as alpha, beta, and launch phases, to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and advocate for the player experience.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with live teams for post-launch communication, setting expectations on patch content, status, and delivery.
  • Manage and produce internal reports on community feedback, activity, and expectations.
  • Implement tools to engage with community opinion leaders and players in various platforms (forums, Discord, Reddit, etc.).
  • Coordinate communication, activities, and initiatives with multiple global departments for consistent and cohesive messaging.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the assigned brand, coordinating community-centric events, including studio visits, developer dialogues, and tournaments.
  • Represent players' needs within production and publishing teams, positively influencing development and communications positioning.
  • Shape player feedback cycles and provide insights to production and publishing teams to influence game experiences, stimulate player retention, and assist in positioning messaging and marketing beats.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, social media, and commercial development teams, to ensure cohesion of messages.
  • Leverage community leads, transversal teams, and relevant partner resources to create meaningful content for players (e.g., blogs, podcasts, interviews, infographics, livestreams, VLOGs, etc.).
  • Collaborate with product and social media managers to define and report on content KPIs, demonstrating success and ROI of community programs and content.
Qualifications:
  • Senior experience managing online communities and developing strategic plans or programs with demonstrable success in a professional setting.
  • Extensive experience in the gaming industry, with in-depth knowledge of its various communities.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc.) is required.
  • Experience working in a demanding production environment, with multiple deadlines, metrics for success, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of building and maintaining the growth of video game communities and developing strategic player engagement plans.
  • Proven track record of working with various stakeholders, in an international environment, to filter and implement player feedback.
  • Having launched a competitive multiplayer game title is required.
  • Mastering English is required (mother language or fluent speaking and writing). Fluency in French is a plus.
  • Experience in social media marketing is a strong plus.
  • Experience with digital asset creation (video, photo, podcasts, etc.) is a strong plus.
