We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reinsurance Accountant to join our dynamic team at AXA. As a key member of our Group Ceded Reinsurance department, you will play a vital role in shaping our reinsurance strategy, analyzing and managing risks, and safeguarding the Group's financial stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reinsurance strategies to optimize our capabilities and manage risk in global markets
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to process and record contractual data, ensuring consistency and conformity with contractual terms
  • Monitor, verify, and process reinsurance accounts received from ceding companies, providing guidance to cedents and contributing to the seamless flow of financial transactions
  • Manage settlements and oversee the financial transactions of third parties to ensure smooth cash flow
Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will need 5-7 years of technical insurance/reinsurance accounting experience and a solid understanding of insurance concepts. Your proficiency in English, both written and spoken, will be essential for effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders. Your ability to efficiently utilize computer tools and manage data in computer systems will be crucial for processing and maintaining accurate reinsurance records.
